2023 Mission Trip
Great News! We are going ahead with plans to go to MCF this summer. For many of us going on a ‘Mission Trip’ means stepping out of our comfort zone. This is true now more than ever. Many new protocols are in place for travel and due to the focus on COVID-19, many of the community health maintenance and follow-up have not received the attention needed.
There is need for THOUSANDS of community members

There has not been a mission trip since before the pandemic from March 2020!
A Message from Dr. Tan:
Dear Friends,
I would love to share with you a cause very close to my heart, a special opportunity to volunteer in Nairobi, Kenya in the summer of 2023. I will be part of a Medical Missions trip that will help provide optometric, dental, and medical care to the children and community members for one of the largest orphanages in Kenya as well as the surrounding villages.

The Mully Children’s Family (MCF) http://mcfcanada.org is a Kenyan Christian humanitarian organization founded and operated by Charles Mulli. They seek out, rescue, and rehabilitate children from the streets of Kenya, who have been abandoned, orphaned, often abused, and infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. MFC cares for over 2500 children at a time and has helped over 10,000 children for the past 29 years. What inspired me is their goal to become a completely self-sustaining organization!
